Paneltim plastic panels for your pig barn

Penning, partition walls, floors, doors, … out of Paneltim panels are fast to clean and easy to maintain. They are compatible with the extremely corrosive environment of a pig farm (manure, urine, high humidity, etc).

Paneltim panels are highly shock resistant. Thanks to the internal 50 x 100 mm or 50 x 50 mm cell structure Paneltim panels are light yet very rigid and strong.

With Paneltim panels it is very easy and efficient to produce penning of variable dimensions, both for renovations as in new projects. Paneltim is offering a broad assortment of panels with thicknesses of 20 mm, 35 mm and 50 mm, offering solutions for pig penning throughout the entire production cycle.

Standard venti panels are supplied with slots at half the height of the panel, so that direct physical contact between the smallest piglets, which are very sensitive to disease transfer, can be avoided. The slots however do allow air circulation through intermediate partitioning or front panels. Other slot configurations (e.g. in order to increase air throughput) can be offered made to measure, thanks to the flexibility and endless combination possibilities of the Paneltim panels.

A partly warm and cold floor can be repeated across the barn. In that respect Paneltim can offer a combination panel, combining closed panels and venti panels into a single panel, in order to influence pig dunging behavior. Furthermore liquid feeding pipes can be integrated into the panel on demand.

Paneltim walls and doors

Paneltim panels can be used to produce walls and doors of various dimensions and heights, and with high hygienic finishing. Possible applications: compartment walls, walk ways (light, rigid and strong, modular mounting with an extensive assortment of plastic profiles) and internal doors (impact resistant and flexible measurements).

Walls and ceilings can be lined hygienically using Paneltim open half panels with 11 mm or 27 mm thickness. They are smooth on one side and have the open rib structure on the other side. For fast and easy mounting Paneltim can offer a modular system of plastic profiles. If necessary the half panels can be temporarily dismounted again in order to install utility lines.

Paneltim half panels are easy to mount, also on surfaces that are difficult to coat. They can protect less corrosive resistant inner or outer walls and avoid the creation of thermal bridges.

Paneltim antiskid floors

In addition to the flat panels Paneltim can also offer an assortment of panels with antiskid profiles: studs or checker plate and orange peel.

Paneltim antiskid panels are manufactured using the same manufacturing system and related high quality requirements as used for regular panels. In terms of strength they are comparable to the strongest Paneltim panels; indeed antiskid panels are produced standard with an internal cell structure of 50 x 50 mm.

These antiskid panels can find various applications in pig barns, e.g. for floor elements, passage ways, staircases and covers. Also these antiskid panels can be made to measure. And finally, where applicable/necessary, half panels with antiskid profile can be provided.

Colors

A diverse assortment of colors and color combinations allow for a comfortable working environment in the barn. For instance: it is possible to choose the color of the penning at the bottom of a wall, and work towards the ceiling with a brighter color. Also a selection of colors linking into your company colors could be possible.

Fast cleaning

With a minimum of water Paneltim panels can be cleaned fast, and the surface will dry quickly and easily.

Optimal hygiene

The panels are closed all around - even when made to measure - thanks to their internal cell structure. As a result internal accumulation of dirt, molds or bacteria is not possible. The surface is smooth, nonabsorbent and water and dirt repellent.

Good insulation properties

Paneltim panels have good insulation values thanks to the low thermal conductivity of plastic in general, as well as the enclosed air in the cell structure. Internal condensation of water is not possible.

Easy processing and fast mounting

Paneltim panels are easy to process using regular hand tools, like sawing, drilling, screwing, milling and welding. The internal cell structure of the Paneltim panels makes them light yet rigid and strong. They can be welded together to different sizes. And because of their light weight, Paneltim panels are surprisingly easy to manipulate, even at large dimensions.
