At Paneltim®, sustainability is at the heart of our operations. Since our inception in 1997, incorporating recycled materials has been a fundamental principle in our production process. This commitment remains steadfast today. To substantiate our dedication, we have subjected our products to rigorous evaluation by independent parties, resulting in Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). These declarations offer a comprehensive insight into the environmental impact of our products, empowering you to make informed, eco-friendly decisions.

What is an EPD?

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) assesses a product's environmental impact throughout its entire lifecycle. For our MultiPower Panel (in prime materials) and Lightweight Panel (in recycled materials), the EPD examines stages from raw material supply to end-of-life.

Our EPDs comply with the CEN standard EN15804:2012+A2:2019, ensuring the highest quality and reliability of data. These assessments are conducted by external parties and independently verified to guarantee accuracy and integrity. Consequently, our EPDs offer a transparent and detailed evaluation of our products' environmental impacts.

The findings are clear: using recycled materials significantly reduces environmental impact compared to new plastic materials.

The Recycled panel demonstrates significantly lower environmental impacts compared to the Prime panel, primarily due to the use of recycled materials which reduce the need for virgin raw materials. This makes the Recycled panel a more environmentally friendly option, reflecting better performance in terms of global warming potential, resource depletion, and waste generation.
